In order to decrease the use of non-DOT-certified helmets, training in detection of non-compliant helmets will be provided to law enforcement officers on a regional basis. In addition, training will be provided to all law enforcement entities regarding the detection of motorcycle riders that are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
