Being your brother’s keeper

January 7, 2010

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency.

It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us.

Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

While I agree that the majority of the electorate is comprised of fools, I’m not so quick to write of Obama as one. To do so would usurp credit for maliciously plotting the demise of our Constitutional Republic with full intention of replacing it with some flavor of a leftist authoritarian system.

Communism? Socialism? Or something different? I can’t read his mind & enumerate with great precision what his end game is, but the general direction is clear. This is all being done with the consent & cooperation of the Republicans, who only engage in political theatre to distract We The People from the things they’d much rather we didn’t notice.

“Nothing to see here, move along. Oh look! Tiger Woods is humping a woodchuck!”

Tiger Woods, Anna Nichole Smith, Michael Jackson… all of these scandalous celebrity stories that dominate the news for weeks on end cleverly disguise much bigger news going on every day in DC that the mainstream media just won’t cover.

Fools? Our elected leaders are not fools. They are architects of despotism. They are, in fact, quite intelligent. And malicious.
